Drew grew up in Los Angeles in a family of artists, where she discovered her passion for storytelling at an early age. At Chaminade High School, she found her lane in film- excelling in her Advanced Film class, winning Best Film at her school's festival two years in a row. Her shorts went on to screen and earn nominations at LA Shorts, All American High School Film Festival, and Calabasas Film Festival.
She continued honing her craft through a scholarship to New York Film Academy's summer program, where she dove into everything from script development to post production. That same summer, she attended UCLA's Cinematography Institute, gaining hands-on experience with camera and lighting work for film and television.
Drew is now pursuing a BFA in Film & Television at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. She has worked on advanced upperclassmen sets and built a reputation as a dependable crew member and an enthusiastic collaborator. While her long-term goal is to write and direct, she is equally drawn to all aspects of filmmaking.
With her technical training, on-set experience, and a (slightly alarming) obsession with the craft, Drew is committed to bringing a fresh, personal voice to the next generation of filmmaking.
